I registered for the AGM but haven't received any information.
If you attempted to register after this date, you may still attend the AGM, but you will not be registered to vote.
Please check your junk and spam mailboxes to check for an email from the Centennial College Alumni Association. If you haven’t received it and suspect you may have entered your email incorrectly, please email us with your name, email and student number.
If you have already received an email from us, our next communciation regarding the AGM will be confirmation we have verified your membership in the CCAA.
During the week of February 1, 2021, you will receive two more emails:
- An email with the link for the meeting
- An email asking you to participate in a voting test to ensure your vote will be counted at the AGM
I can't attend the AGM, what can I do?
When you assign your proxy to another member, your vote will be counted the same way they vote. So be sure to give it to someone who will be voting how you’d like.
The deadline for registration and assigning a proxy has passed
*The person you are giving your proxy to must be registered to attend the AGM before you can assign your proxy to them
Please note, in order to stand for election or to be acclaimed, you must be present at the CCAA Annual General Meeting.
Each member is able to hold a maximum of three proxies.
When is the deadline to submit my intent and nomination forms if I want to run for a position?
Please submit them to elections@ccaa.life.
How does voting work?
The Association’s lawyers will be managing the voting process and will be the only parties able to access the results of the vote. They will announce the results of each vote at the AGM.
During the AGM you will be asked to log on to Simply Voting’s website. As votes are called, they will appear on the website screen and you’ll be able to vote. Voting will be open for a specific amount of time for each vote.
I have other questions.
