COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Centennial College Alumni,

With COVID-19 being top of mind, I wanted to connect with you and let you know how the Centennial College Alumni Association is responding. Our board of directors is made up of volunteers who value good citizenship. It is this ethos that has guided our decision making. Because of our intrinsic relationship with Centennial College, we are following their lead. You can find detailed information about their response on the Centennial College website.

In addition, we have made the following commitments to help contain the spread of COVID-19:
  • All CCAA in-person events through the end of April have been suspended
  • We will be limiting our in-person meetings including our board of directors meetings
  • We will use available resources to conduct meetings virtually
  • Our office in the Student Centre at Progress campus will be closed until at least April 5 (subject to change)

You can reach the CCAA office by emailing, alumni@centennialcollege.ca and via social @CCAALife. Voicemail is not being monitored and please allow for extra time in replying to emails during this unprecedented time.

In addition, benefits, services and specials available to you that are found on the CCAA website continue to be active, however, please be prudent in confirming with the attraction they will be open when you plan on attending. Many Toronto attractions have closed through April 5.

The alumni trip to Jamaica is still scheduled to happen as planned and any questions should be directed to the operator. If travel restrictions are introduced that would prevent us from travelling, we will contact each traveler with information.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time. We will continue to monitor news and developments from Centennial College, The Ministry of Health and Health Canada.

On behalf of your CCAA Board of Directors,

Alvin Guthrie
CCAA President
