“What better tonic to the winter blues than a playful, irreverent comedy featuring Gioachino Rossini’s famously bright and exuberant melodies?” – COC
Join the CCAA for a spectacular night at the opera with Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, a riotous tale of love, disguise, and delightful chaos. Count Almaviva is hopelessly in love with Rosina, who’s kept under lock and key by her guardian, Doctor Bartolo. Enter Figaro—Seville’s clever barber and master of schemes—ready to help true love triumph… for a price.
A wonderful introductory opera for audiences of all ages, this vibrant production by director Joan Font bursts with color, circus-inspired whimsy, and Rossini’s irresistible music. Expect laughter, romance, and a night to remember!
